ABOUT US – Thomas Klise/Crimson Multimedia

Thomas Klise/Crimson Multimedia is a Connecticut based, woman-owned small business. Founded in Peoria, Illinois in 1966 and incorporated as Thomas S. Klise Company, the business quickly became the country’s premiere publisher of social justice filmstrips. Titles in history and geography, literature and writing skills, art history and poetry, world cultures and ancient civilizations followed. Thomas S. Klise Company acquired Spectrum Media, another midwestern educational publisher, in 2001. Today, the Klise family of products includes DVDs, teacher guides, reproducible books, transparency programs, audio kits, and posters.

The company took a leap into the distribution business in 2003 with the acquisition of Crimson Multimedia, a supplier of CD-ROM software to public libraries. Software gave way to video games and, currently, Thomas Klise/Crimson Multimedia is a trusted supplier of video games to public libraries. Our proprietary software allows us to create custom branded processing for each of our library customers.

For 57 years, Thomas Klise/Crimson Multimedia has provided quality products, competitive prices, and unsurpassed customer service to school, library, and government customers around the world.
